Founded in 1995, TAPS is situated in NCR (National Capital Region) in Ballabgarh, Faridabad, adjacent to New Delhi. It houses around 3500 students, coming from all walks of life and a dedicated team of 150, proficient and skilled teachers and lecturers. The school is headed by Academic Director Ms. Manorma Arora, a Rajat Jayanti and State Award Winner. She is a dynamic personality with a clarity of vision, an educationist par excellence and a learned philosopher.
Since it’s inception the school has provided congenial and conducive atmosphere for the multifaceted development of the students. The activity based curriculum for class Nursery to XII, is framed to inculcate and instill educational, ethical and professional attributes in the students. It has been an endeavour on the part of the management and the staff to strive for excellence, enabling the institute to yield young, enterprising professionals and human beings.
Recognized by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) the institute has a very elaborate and adequately furnished infrastructure comprising of 70 class-rooms, laboratories, activity rooms, playground and a cafe. It has a support of a Book Shop and a well-stocked Library. The school has a fleet of 20 buses, covering almost all the places in the city.
Tagore Academy has a definite academic inclination. Infact, in a short period of time, the school has become a hallmark in providing qualitative education. The Class X and XII results, where the students appear for first public-examinations, have proved it, year after year, the efforts made in the singular direction of stepping higher on the ladder of success with better scores. Our students have got admissions into prestigious institutes, like IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) cracking entrance examinations like AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam.), CEET (Common Engineering Exam Test) and REC (Regional Engineering College). The quality of results has been outstanding with 80% of the students getting distinctions in one or all subjects. Our students have also get into National Defence Academy which puts them in an elitist group. The school has had the highest number of students clearing NSTSE (National Level Science Talent Search Examination) in the state, which is a commendable effort and achievement.

To enhance the holistic development and to promote the cultural inheritance of the nation, the school celebrates all festivals, national and international days. The school has been appreciated for it’s participation at International Suraj Kund Trade Festival for last so many years. It has been well recognized for the efficiency and perfection with which it has organized various competitions and cultural shows. The school has been awarded the best for it’s colourful, rich, cultural extravaganza at the state level on Republic Day for last decade. The event involves no less than 300 students each time and is a field event.
